Since 1984, local emergency food providers have worked together to coordinate services in the struggle to end hunger. Seattle Food Committee members represent 27 food banks serving people in need of supplemental food. SFC works with food distributors and other service providers to coordinate and maximize the efficiency of Seattle's emergency food system.
